It is still unbelievable to me that some of my peer programmers in life or on social media are not able to appreciate the wonders of tools like Claude or Codex to help with programming.

There was always this idea that to debug something, explain it to a rubber duck. In working with Claude, I have a rubber duck that cooperates. I feed it prompts and source files, it takes a very close look and comes up with theories and solutions for the problem at hand. Then I question those and the rubber duck takes my remarks into consideration.

This is a very productive feedback loop. The rubber duck talks back.

It helps me immensely.
