It’s that time of the year again: WWDC is upon us.

I am a freelance iOS developer, and I work on a day to day basis in about five different teams.

Here is what would be a boost for my productivity. It’s not really a wish list. It’s what should have existed a long time ago already, and for some reason doesn’t yet.

Xcode bugfixes

When I open up Xcode I want it to be able to build my project. It is all too often that packages have not been updated yet and I need to reopen my project.

The same happens when git has updated something on disk.

Xcode utils

When can we get a dependable, fast debugger? It has been years that Xcode has problems reading values of variables.

Previews

Same for previews. How long have they not worked? I use sometimes InjectionIII.app, but that is a hack that does not always work. When it works it’s flawless.

App Store Connect

It’s buggy and unintuitive. It has improved a lot in recent years, but it still has a long way to go.
